LEMON, GARLIC, AND THYME BAKED SALMON

Glad Friday! tell me – what are your weekend plans? Are you going anywhere amusing? Staying home and nesting? Baking any of my recipes? The weather is going to be bloodless, miserable, and wet right here, so I’m wicked excited to relaxed up with an amazing book, experience some glasses of French wine, and simply loosen up. What are weekends for… am I proper?!
In other news, I made you dinner! A healthful and not dull dinner. I recognise this because ultimate weekend we ate this flavorful baked salmon with rice, salad, and sparkling peach margaritas and after one flavor I blurted out mid-bite “I must make this for my weblog”. All of my pals agreed and some of my visitors even snagged the recipe that night time. always a great sign.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 pounds salmon, cut into 4 fillets
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest (more to taste, if desired)
- 3 cloves garlic, grated or very finely minced
- 2 teaspoons fresh thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- Lemon wedges, for serving
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 425 levels (F). Line a big baking sheet with parchment paper; set apart.
- region the salmon fillets in a large bowl, set aside. In a separate bowl whisk together the honey, lemon zest, garlic, thyme, black pepper, and salt, blending nicely to combine. Stir in the lemon juice.
- Pour this sauce over the salmon fillets, the use of your arms (or a spoon) to flippantly and generously coat them. remove fillets from marinade and location on organized baking sheet. Use a small spoon to pinnacle every fillet with one teaspoon of remaining marinade. Bake for 13-15 mins, or till salmon is cooked on your liking. remove salmon from the oven and serve at once, with greater lemon wedges.
